ABOUT ABCA
The Austin Black Contractors Association, Inc., (ABCA) is a nonprofit corporation
established on March 25, 1988 to promote, business and economic development
opportunities for African American contractors and other small minority contractors
in the Austin Metropolitan Area.
Goals
•

increase African American Contractors' participation in public
and private sector’s construction procurements; |

enhance African American Contractors' capacities and capabilities
through management and technical skills development training; |

improve African American Contractors' overall competitiveness
in the construction marketplace; |

create job opportunities for low and moderate income residents in
the
Austin Metropolitan Area;and |

promote community empowerment through self-sufficiency. |
